What’s It Going To Take For The Majority To Wake Up?
We are heading toward mass extinction that will include billions of people. We proliferate nuclear weapons and conventional weapons to feed the greed for power of a few while the vast majority allow themselves to be swaddled in falsehoods by political, religious and economic leaders.
The ship of fools is heading toward the rocks while the passengers worry about seating orders and looking better than the neighbor.
It’s OK, though. The ants and cockroaches are ready to take over.

Good question, William. The crasseness of the situation can hardly be overstated.
As usual, the point is missed and the question is barely answered by a small minority.
When tho ocean levels rise to flood the seaport cities of the world and the rice basket of the world is barely producing because of the disappearance of the glaciers in the Himalyas, the cute-sayers will just Duuuhh.
When all those hundreds of millions of people find their lives disappearing, the threat of war will peak and some of those places have nukes.
The Earth is undergoing the beginning of another great extinction event. The CO2 will be at 380ppm in not too many years. The last time that happened was 250,000,000 years ago when 90% of the life in the oceans disappeared. Where will the sushi come from then?
What will the gurus do then?
The screams and complaint will boil the heavens and only the lowly of the Earth’s creatures will be here to listen.

As long as there are Conservitards blaming our president for Bush’s sucking economy , then there is a chance another crooked Republicant will steal another American election and get in control. During the American Revolution, only about 15% of the population fought and defeated a well armed enemy.
So if 3 out of 20 people wake up, we have a fighting chance for freedom.
As long as we have countries willing to bend us to their philosophy and rules through force of arms,we’ll need to continue with our policy of nuclear deterrence for self protection.Not a nice scenario but as long as there are nuts willing to attack,it’s what we have to live with.
The real question is who’s way of life will wind up being the victor for all.Islamic,communist,mob/war lord or rule by democracy.If the first three are unacceptable,then resistance is necessary by any means.
We are far short of world wide utopia for the human race.
As far as weapons go,once the genie is out,can’t put it back.If the scenario of below happens of rising waters and competition for arable land begins,see how fast bigger and better weapons are in the hands of even those who don’t have them materialize.When survival is paramount,anything goes and anarchy will reign.Even without weapons of mass destruction available,would still have war.We haven’t evolved that far yet that we won’t protect our own families first.
